Automatism has been lost. as individuals we are always close to illness and as a society we are plagued by illness. our commerce and technology are fundamentally sick because doing things oneself and self-determination lie outside nature. we have eaten of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. and thus we are determined by our work, realization in doing. and work is not nature, even if it is in ecological harmony with nature. making is not activism. all right, there are perversions of making, bustle, just as there are perversions of thinking, withdrawals into ideality.
